Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-05-22 · Last updated: 2026-06-10

This privacy policy applies to the Prioriteyes mobile application (“Application”), and any web version we make available, provided by Paul Ritterbush (“Service Provider,” “we,” “us”). The Application is offered as a freemium service (“AS IS”).

See also our Terms of Service.

Who we are

The data controller for the Application is Paul Ritterbush. For privacy questions or requests, contact prioriteyes.support@gmail.com.

Information collection and use

We collect and process information as described below.

Information you choose to provide

Passwords and authentication

If you create an account with email and password, you provide your email address and use Firebase Authentication for sign-in. Passwords are processed by Google (Firebase) for authentication only; Prioriteyes does not store passwords. If you request a password reset, Firebase sends email to the address you provide.

Information stored on your device

Most app content stays on your device unless you use connected services:

Information stored in our cloud (Firebase)

For signed-in (non-guest) accounts, we store limited data in Google Cloud Firestore, such as subscription plan tier and related entitlement fields. We do not sync your full priority lists to Firestore in the current version of the Application.

For paid accounts, we register each device installation you use with the Service by storing device registration information in our cloud (Firestore) to enforce the device limits described in our Terms of Service. This includes an app-generated identifier for that installation (not your phone’s advertising ID), the platform (such as iOS, Android, or web), and timestamps such as when the device was first registered and last seen. We use this only to enforce fair use of paid plans, prevent account sharing abuse, and help you move to a new device when you contact support. We do not use it for advertising.

In-app purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive payment card numbers. We may receive product and transaction identifiers to verify purchases and update your plan tier. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by the store and are described in our Terms of Service.

Automatically collected information

When you use the Application, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as:

The Application does not collect precise location (GPS) from your device.

The Application does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to process your personal data or provide features.

Calendar sync (if you enable it)

If you connect Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, event titles, descriptions, and times derived from your priorities may be sent to or written in the calendar service you choose.

Google user data (Sign-In and Calendar)

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google account and calendar data only to provide sign-in and calendar sync features you request. We do not use that data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Sharing you initiate

If you use export or share features (for example, calendar export or backup files), you choose where that data goes (email, cloud storage, another app). We do not control those third parties.

How we contact you

We do not send marketing or promotional email lists. We may contact you only when needed for the service, for example:

Third-party services

The Application relies on third parties that process data under their own policies, including:

Where available, manage ad consent in the Application (Ad privacy choices in Settings) or your device settings.

Advertising and analytics

Free-tier users may see ads served through Google AdMob, subject to consent where required. We do not sell your personal information. In some regions, ad partners may use data (such as device identifiers or IP address) for ad delivery and measurement; you can limit personalized advertising through in-app privacy choices (when shown) and your device settings.

We may use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve stability; collection is governed by Google’s policies.

International data transfers

Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers (such as Google/Firebase and Apple) operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your own.

Sharing and disclosure

We may disclose information:

We do not sell your personal information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To delete your account, use Settings → Delete account in the Application. For other requests, or if you can no longer access the Application, email prioriteyes.support@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Residents of certain regions (for example, the EEA, UK, or California) may have additional rights under local law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where applicable, we process personal data on these bases: contract (providing the app and your account), consent (where required, such as for certain ads), and legitimate interests (security, support, and improving the Application), balanced against your rights.

Account and data deletion

Opt-out

You can stop most collection by uninstalling the Application. Ad and analytics preferences may also be managed as described above.

Data retention

Security and incidents

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the data we process (including industry-standard providers such as Firebase). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we learn of a data breach that affects your personal information and requires notification under law, we will take steps to notify you or regulators as required.

Children

The Application is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Web version

If you use a web version of Prioriteyes, similar practices apply (Firebase authentication, authorized domains, and third-party services). Do not use the web app from untrusted networks if you are concerned about transmission security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Your consent

By using the Application, you consent to this policy and its updates, except where applicable law requires a different legal basis (for example, consent for certain ads in the EEA/UK).
